Why Phuket?

Phuket is one of the most amazing islands in Asia and gateway to Phi Phi islands, the Big Buddha plus much more.  With its bustling markets, hot weather, beaches, generous and fun loving people and for the adventurous there is a lot to do plus its famous nightlife.  Our Chair lived there for two years in a health retreat and felt it was the place for SAPEPAA's next conference - grow and generate wisdom.

But it is not all about relaxation

SAPEPAA membership was launched in November 2021 and it is fitting that the conference be a celebration of all things SAPEPAA.  We have set down a strong conference agenda that focuses on how to deliver succession, asset protection and estate planning into your existing business easily and efficiently with SAPEPAA systems designed to maximise revenue.  Following last year's successful conference in Fiji we have built a forward looking schedule and a lot of group sessions where we can build the next stage of SAPEPAA - beyond its first two start-up years.

What is the Conference Fee and what does it cover?

The conference cost is $2,495 with an early bird discount of $1,950 and a special pricing before 1 May 2023 of $1,750.  Foundation membership is also $1,750 so if you are a Foundation member please check his box.  The registration fee  covers the conference, all dinners and lunches as well as cocktail parties plus all learning, education and materials.

Special "with Protector" offer: At our last conference it was a bit of a shock to see only a handful of conference attendees who had completed the Protector.  Given what is coming down the pipe with AI (see ChaptGPT) and a recession it is vital for ALL of us to have in place the Protector to take a big weight off of our shoulders.  As suggested by Conference Chair Manish we are offering to the first 50 registrants conference ticket plus a Protector completed by AM Lawyers.  The cheapest ticket cost at the moment is $1,750 and AM Lawyers charge $3,950 for a Protector for advisers - total cost $5,700.  However our special offer for both ticket and your Protector is $2,495 - a great deal.  This is limited to the first 50 tickets or the end of June - whichever is earlier.

Accommodation - please read or you may miss out on conference prices

Please note that accommodation and airfares are separate as are transfers to and from the airport which can be arranged in conjunction with your accommodation provider. Also make sure you book your accommodation by the end of February to ensure you have a place to stay at the conference.  Last year some of our delegates left it too late in the day to stay at the conference resort in Fiji and it cost them an arm and a leg to find alternative accommodation.

CPD Hours

There are 14 SAPEPAA CPD hours – the same with FASEA and the TPB.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Where permitted (Covid, health or other - reasons provided to SAPEPAA and approved by SAPEPAA), you may cancel all or part of your registration. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent by email or mail to the SAPEPAA.
2. No entitlement to repayment arises for cancellations with less than 30 days of notice.
3. For a Conference, if your cancellation notification is received by the SAPEPAA:                                                  
   1. Cancellation more than 90 days before the event: 100% refund;
   2. Cancellation less than 90 days and more than 60 days before the event: 80% refund;
   3. Cancellation less than 60 days, but more than 31 days: 70% refund; and
   4. Cancellation 31 days or less, no refund.
   5. Any funds retained by SAPEPAA when issuing a refund are a genuine pre-estimate of reasonable costs that SAPEPAA will have incurred at the time of the cancellation.
